Stabilirea cu exactitate a potentialului de vindecare al arsurilor constituie de cele mai multe ori, o adevarata provocare. Dispozitivul moorLDI2-BI™ este extrem de util in orientarea deciziei terapeutice prin aprecierea potentialului de vindecare a plagii arse, evaluand fluxul sanguin al epidermei din zona vizata, aflat in stransa legatura cu potentialul de vindecare. Astfel, prin utilizarea sa, interventia chirurgicala poate fi amanata sau chiar evitata.

Utilizare

Dispozitivul Laser Doppler moorLDI2-BI™scaneaza tesutul afectat cu un fascicul de mica putere. Circulatia sangelui in sistemul microvascular provoaca o modificare doppler a luminii laser difuzate, care este fotodetectata si apoi procesata, pentru a construi o harta color. Aparatul moorLDl2-BI utilizeaza tehnica laserului Doppler pentru prognosticul potentialului de vindecare al arsurilor.
Studiile clinice au aratat ca arsurile se vindeca in termen de 14 zile atunci cand scanarea Doppler indica un flux crescut de sange, intre 14 si 21 zile cand fluxul este “mediu” si peste 21 de zile in cazurile in care fluxul de sange este scazut (acesta din urma, de obicei, indica faptul ca este necesara interventia chirurgicala).
Diferitele zone ale unei arsuri cu adancime variabila pot fi incadrate intr-o singura imagine.

Determining accurately the healing potential of burns is, in most cases, a real challenge. The moorLDI2-BI ™ device is extremely useful in guiding the therapeutic decision by assessing the healing potential of the burned wound by assessing the blood flow of the epidermis in the target area, which is closely related to the potential for healing. Usage

Laser Doppler moorLDI2-BI ™ scans the affected tissue with a low-power beam. Blood circulation in the microvascular system causes a doppler modification of the diffused laser light, which is photodetected and then processed to build a color map. The moorLD2-BI device uses the Doppler laser technique to predict the potential for healing of burns.
Clinical studies have shown that burns heal within 14 days when Doppler scan indicates an increased blood flow between 14 and 21 days when flow is “average” and over 21 days in cases where blood flow is low ( The latter usually indicates that surgical intervention is required).
Different areas of a variable depth burn can be framed in a single image.
