Fixed and Mobile Hyperbaric Chambers
HBOT – Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Oxygen used as medical treatment can be administered within a sealed chamber at a pressure of up to 3 atmospheres.
This procedure increases the amount of decomposed oxygen in the blood, from 1.5g / dL to 6.0g / dL and the oxygen pressure in tissues up to 400mm Hg; This supplemental oxygen has multiple biochemical, cellular and physical benefits.
Patients can benefit from this therapy both through scheduled treatment with fixed hyperbaric rooms and in emergency cases via the SOS Hyperlite handheld portable capsule that provides both hyperbaric oxygen treatment and patient transport.
HBOT is used in:
– treating decompression illnesses;
– gas embolism;
– severe anemia due to blood loss;
– adjunctive therapy in the treatment of clostridial and gangrene mumps;
– compromised skin grafts ;
– preventing osteoradionectrosis
HBOT is also used in traumatic ischemia, compartment syndrome or lesions to stimulate the healing of chronic and necrotic wounds associated with acute tissue hypoxia, compromised skin grafts, chronic osteomyelitis, actinomycosis, burns and treatment of osteoradionectosis.
Perry Baromedical Hyperbaric Chambers guarantee a suitable therapy, made to the highest standards.
Patients can benefit from this therapy both through programmed treatment using fixed hyperbaric chambers (SIGMA monoplace and multiplace) as well as in emergencies through the SOS Hyperlite first aid portable capsule that provides both hyperbaric oxygen treatment and patient transportation.
Currently, Hyperlite is the only hyperbaric room that can provide all types of oxygen therapy approved by the PVHO Standard, whose regulations are respected internationally.
Perry Baromedical hyperbaric chambers are built to provide the highest standards for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Unique features are found in both technical details and patient comfort. They are also specially designed for the treatment of overweight persons (227-318 Kg).
Sigma 34, 36 si 40 are the most modern treatment units.
Sigma 40 is the most spacious chambers that gives the patient a generous space to enjoy treatment under the best conditions.
Advantages HBOT:
– Ensures oxygen saturation of the plasma
– Increases the amount of oxygen in the ischemic surfaces
– Improves the ability of white blood cells to destroy bacteria
– Reduces oedema by vasoconstriction without oxygen deprivation
– Stimulates the appearance of small blood vessels (angiogenesis)
– Stimulates the production of CD34 + stem cells for rapid healing
– Increases the amount of oxygen in the walls of the cells of the ischemic tissues
– It intensifies the effects of some antibiotics
